Can these steps be mounted to the underside passenger front and rear of a 2008 Durango. Looking for assist for 82 year old mother in law that is still mobile but we are currently using a step stool for her to get into our Durango. and If so a possible installer in the Oklahoma City, Ok Area. Adding RV steps like the Lippert Components Kwikee 40 Series Double Electric Step with Double Tread # LC3726892 to a 2008 Dodge Durango would require custom welding of brackets as well as enough ground clearance. Although this looks ideal, I assume you'd be looking at a lot of custom fabrication for your vehicle that it isn't intended to handle and could effect other components.
My recommendation is to use the Westin Molded, Lighted Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 6" Wide - Black # 27-0015-1545 confirmed to fit your 2008 Dodge Durango. This would require no welding or fabrication. You could then use a step like Adjustable-Height, Folding Platform Step - Steel - 24" Long x 16" Wide - 300 lbs # S-150 or Safety Step Adjustable Height, Folding Platform Step - Aluminum - 19" x 15" - 1,000 lbs # SASA-10C-G for an adjustable portable step.
We don't have installation shops we refer to, but any local shop you trust should be able to install running boards on your Durango.
