Chest Style Truck Bed Tool Box Recommendations for a 2001 Toyota Tundra

Question:
The details of this item advise adding 1 to the length, width and depth of this tool box. Does this mean the total depth of the tool box is 18 1/4 with the lid closed? The addition to the width is not a critical measurement and the distance between my wheel wells is 49 exactly. This box will fit under my tonneau if indeed the true depth measurement of the tool box with the lid in the closed position is 17 1/4. Please advise.

Adding the 1 inch measurement will apply to the outside dimensions of the Truck Bed Chest, # DZ8546B. But since the lid overlaps the box, that 1 inch measurement will not be added to the bottom of the box, just where the lid is.
It will add some height to the top of the box with the lid factored in. I would say that the 1 inch measurement is the maximum which would make it 17 inches tall.
