Spare Tire Carrier Compatibility With Small Trailer Door

Question:
Ive got a small enclosed trailer and wonder if mounting this to the rear door? Ive got a single swing out door and was thinking i could attach this to the lower right corner just above the door hinge? Id have to get shorter bolts due to the thickness difference but do you think this would work? Im just wanting to make sure this type of hinge would support the added weight of the tire. Ill attach an image of the rear door and approximate location i was thinking about. Thanks

You will be okay to mount the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier - Fits 4- and 5-Lug Wheels
Item # FSTC1000301 to your cargo door as long as your door can support the weight and secure the mount. The photo you attached looks like the hinges are sturdy enough to support that additional weight. The location is ideal for the weight as well as the tail light and handle to all function properly.
