Will Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FSTC1000301 Work on 5 x 10 V-Nose Trailer w/ Short Tongue
Question:
I have a a 5×10 v nose trailer with short tongue. Tube measures 3×2 will the Fulton Hi Mount spare tire number fstc 1000301 fit my application. From the middle of vnose to center of ball is 27 inches and 34 inches from side of v to center of ball with a 15 spare tire thanks for help

You should have no problem mounting the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier, # FSTC1000301, on your V-nose short tongue trailer. This carrier fits trailer tongues up to 3 inches wide and 4 inches high and works with 10 inch diameter or larger wheels having a 4 on 4 or 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
Since you do have a short nose trailer, there is a chance that the tire could interfere with full operation of the jack handle and make it a bit more tedious to raise and lower the trailer. To determine if there will be interference I recommend measuring 27 inches (the approximate diameter of your space tire) down the side of the tongue to see exactly where the tire will sit on your trailer.
