Question:
Hello, I am the proud owner of a 1972 skylark no-160 travel trailer, and I am looking for an axle over/under conversion kit. The problem is that I cant determine if the axle is 2-3/8 or a 3 inch one. It is a single axle approximately 16 feet long. I was hoping you would be able to help me figure out what product would be best for me. Item # K71-385-00 OR Item # K71-384-00 Thanks for the help

Your best bet is to use a digital caliper, like # PTW80157, and measure the diameter of the axle tube.
Then, like you said, you'll need # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch axle or # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch.
