Question:
Hi, Im looking to purchase the fastway e2 weight distribution hitch but Im not sure which one would be best for my application. I have a 2013 ram 1500 as the tow vehicle and Im pulling a 2017 Salem cruise lite 263bxhl. The camper has a tongue weight of 682 lbs and a dry weight of 5854.

To determine the correct Fastway weight distribution system for your setup you need to find your total tongue weight. You need to determine your trailer's loaded, and ready to tow tongue weight and combine it with the amount of weight you have behind the rear axle of your 2013 Ram 1500. You want your total tongue weight to fall somewhere within the range of the system you choose.
From my research your trailer has a GVWR of 7,635 pounds. If you're loading your trailer to its full capacity and you have some gear behind your truck's rear axle the total tongue weight is likely going to be close to 1,000 pounds. If you're under that you can use the e2 # FA92-00-1000 rated for 1,000 pounds of tongue weight or you might be better off going up to the 1,200 pound system, # FA92-00-1200.
Whichever Fastway system you choose you'll need a hitch ball. Use # EQ91-00-6120 for a 2-5/16 inch or # A-90 for a 2 inch.
