It is possible that your 2005 Nissan Armada is missing a relay that is required to activate the trailer's right turn signal and brake lights. I recommend checking the fuse box under the hood of your vehicle to see if the relays are present or damaged. I have attached an image that shows where this should be located. There should be two blue relays, one for left turn/brake and one for right/turn brake signals.
If you find this is the case, you can use the Curt Relay Kit for Nissan Aftermarket Tow Package # C57000 for the kit that includes two blue relays for both left and right hand turn/brake signals and the 12-volt power circuit relay. You may just need one of the blue relays from the kit to activate the right side of your trailer lights.
I have attached an installation video on your 2005 Nissan Armada. The relay kit portion of the video starts at around the 1:50 mark.
Please let me know if this does not solve your issue and I will be happy to look into it further.
