Question:

Looking to get these for my pick up camper and I need the top step to be right around 23-24inch high. This would allow me two options-either install on the tailgate if I leave it on or install just under the door of the camper if I take the tailgate off. Should I get the AS03 to get that top step height of 23-24? I would use the tailgate bracket for this installation.

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS03 is what I would go with if I were in your shoes. If you are needing a height of at least 24 inches then it is better to get steps that can extend past your minimum height requirement in case you need a little more height.

The Tailgate Scissor Step Bracket # TSSB by Brophy is what you are going to need so that you can install the Scissor Steps on your tailgate.
