Question:

I have a 2016 f250 4x4 crew cab super duty short bed. Gas engine 6.2. I am looking to tow a 39 ft. Forest river with a Gvwr/PNB of 14080 Please let me know what fifth wheel hitch goin to work best Thanks

Since your 2016 Ford F-250 has a short bed you are going to need a slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns. My favorite slider hitch to recommend is the Demco Slider part # DM8550034 which has an 18k capacity and the ability to automatically slide back as you make tight turns. It's a bit of a hassle to have to get out and activate the slider every time you need to make a tight turn, so the auto slide feature is really convenient.

For a rail kit a custom install kit like part # DM8552000-71 would be your best option. This will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
