Question:

I have class c motorhome I need a tow bar and hardware to fit 2013 chevy silverado 1500 that I will tow. Can u give me idea what this will cost for my setup Thanks

We can help.

Safe and legal flat towing requires a few items, including a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit of some kind and a braking system and base plates on the towed vehicle. Also a high/low hitch adapter often comes into play too, which can help you get the tow bar close to level (important for good performance). You can refer to the linked articles on flat towing for more on each of these items.

Let's start with base plates for the 1500. I recommend the Blue Ox kit # BX1674 because the arms lock in place without clips that can get lost. With these I suggest their Alpha tow bar # BX7380 which includes the required safety cables, saving you that expense.

For a lighting kit the easiest option is a set of magnetic lights like # TL21RK but if you want a permanent installation you could use a diode kit instead, like # RM-154.

For a supplemental braking system for the truck there is no product I recommend more than the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, which offers reliable, convenient wireless operation and which is fully portable between vehicles.
