You can use the Replacement Round Spring Bar for Reese Weight Distribution System - 800 lbs TW, part # RP58114, that has the cam-style spring bar, in a Reese head that is using flat-end spring bars. The head will need to be the newer design head like the Reese Replacement Head for Round Bar, part # RP58112. If it is an older Reese head you will want to get me the part number from the head and I can see if we will be able to help you get the right spring bars.

This replacement spring bar has a tongue weight rating of 400 lbs. to 800 lbs. You will want to make sure that the tongue weight range on the replacement spring bars will be the same or higher than the spring bars you will be replacing.

The dual-cam sway control will only work on Class III, Class IV and Class V hitches and cannot be used with surge-type trailer brakes.

To install the cam-style spring bars on your trailer you will need the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control, part # RP26002. This will be the dual-cam arm assembly and hangar bracket. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the sway control assembly and a video of the dual-cam sway control being installed on a trailer.

I am also including a link to a FAQ page that will answer your sway control questions.
