Would Mighty Cord 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector # A10-7W6 Fit 7-Way of 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

I have a new 2016 HD Silverado and a 2009 Sundowner 2 horse trailer. I need to verify that I get the correct plug to fit my new truck. The old plug is not making all the connections that my former 2011 Sierra did. It seems that the plug from the trailer is not seating correctly into the new version on my 2016. It is a 7 point blade. Please help.

The standard 7-way trailer connector has not changed at all. The part # A10-7W6 that you referenced would work well with the 7-way you have on your 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 though.

It's possible your old connector or the truck's connector have corrosion or bent pins which would need to be cleaned/straightened.
