Can the Fulton Fold Away Coupler Be Installed In Either Direction

Question:

The question I have which end goes to this piece (tongue portion with straight tongue trailer coupler, the portion of weld-on folding trailer coupler that has the 2 ears for the bolt or the portion that has the center (one) ear for where the bolt/pin goes through. Or does it even matter? I have the welder coming tomorrow so would appreciate your fast response.

I contacted the manufacturer of the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler, # FHDPW330300, and they told me that it does not matter which way you install the coupler to your trailer.

You can decide which way you want you trailer coupler to swing that will work the best for your application.
