Recommended Camper Steps For Evergreen Trailer

Question:

I am interested in purchasing a set of Brophy camper scissor steps for my Evergreen iGo travel trailer. I have two questions: 1 The height of the door sill is 30 inches, but the specs of the scissor steps lists 31 - 39 inches is the 1 inch difference a problem? and, 2 the horizontal depth from the outside wall of the trailer to the trailer frame member is 12 1/2 inches and the frame member is a steel i-beam is this a mounting problem?

Since the distance from the bottom of your door sill is 30 inches I recommend steps like part # AS23.

These steps are 24-inches wide and 8-1/2 inches deep. These steps are designed to expand from 24 to 30-inches. The mounting bracket and screws are included. Just secure the bracket to your camper and clip the stairs into the "V" clamps on the mounting bracket. Since you said you have a steel beam, you will need to drill into the frame to mount the step bracket.
