Hitch Bike Rack with Short Distance from Bumper to End of Bike Rack

Question:

Hi, My 2011 subaru outback will not fit in my garage with the hitch rack on it. Is there a hitch rack with a shorter clearance between the bumper and the hitch arm? My current rack, which I love, is a yakama ridgeback 2. OR, it is possible to purchase a part that would enable me to push the rack deeper back in the hitch hole and thereby shorten the distance between the back bumper and the hitch arm? We don't have a part to push yours forward. If you would consider a new rack, a platform bike rack that is going to give you the best clearance for when your trying to shut your garage you would want the Thule T2 Bike Rack part # TH69TX for if you have a 2 inch hitches. When this rack is folded up it will add 20 inches from the hitch opening to the back of the rack.

If this is not enough clearance, this rack has wheels to make it easier to load and unload.
