My component show r.C what does that mean?

When the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV shows r.C on the display it means the controller needs to be recalibrated. To do this you need to unplug the controller and wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in.
If this doesn't correct your problem let me know.
Also, the instructions to the controller list a number of troubleshooting codes the controller might display. I've linked the instructions for you for future reference.
