We have a system that will work great on your 1996 Roadtrek.

I recommend the RoadActive Suspension Kit, part # RAS4612-DV. This system not only adds strength to the leaf springs but it also helps reduce sway and body roll.

I called my contact at RoadActive and they said you will want to make sure you have at least 4-inches clearance above the leaf springs from the center of the axle back to the rear eye on the leaf spring to get this to work.

We do have Timbrens like part # TDVR350R that would work on your motorhome as well. The biggest difference between the RoadActive system I recommended and the Timbren system is that the RoadActive system is always active where the Timbrens are not active when there is no load and will engage as more weight is added to the motorhome. Another system you may want to consider is the SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer, part # SSA8MTKT. These sit above the leaf springs and help reduce sway and also prevent sagging. These work like sway bars seen on larger motorhomes. The rollers on the ends of the springs activate when under a load and do not when there is no load.
