Your best option is to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one and test the wires on the vehicle so you can determine their functions. Have someone sit in the vehicle and run through the light functions while you test. Then you can label the wires. This is easy for the left and right turn signals, brake lights, and running lights; possibly even a reverse light if the trailer needs it. But the brake output and 12-volt circuits are a little more difficult to figure out.
If your 2013 Nissan Frontier was set up for a 7-Way from the factory or had the connectors at one point it would be the one that only had 2 functions (wires) in it. One is likely black (12 volt) and the other could be blue (output to trailer brakes from brake controller).
Once you have determined the wire functions you can attach them to a vehicle side 7-Way such as # PK12-707E. I have included a link to our wiring help article that has diagrams of various connectors including the 7-Way.
