Question:
Good afternoon, I have 265/65/16 Super Z LT ZT729 cables from a previous Explorer and our new truck has 265/70/16 Tires. Hoping they will fit?

Expert Reply:
The side chain on the cables for the 265/70-16 tires is shorter than the ones for the 265/65-16 tires be nearly 11 inches. Because of this I cannot recommend using the same cables on either size. For your 265/65-16 tires you can use cables # TC2028. This is a basic set that won't break the bank. I do recommend adding rubber adjusters # TCMA2 though to help keep the cables tight and centered,
