Question:

My daughter has a 3 horse slant sundowner gooseneck and I want to add a motor to the jack for her. My husband can install it I just need to know what to purchase. Thanks

We would need to know what the make and model of the jack currently installed on the trailer is to see if we have an electric motor upgrade. Many times it iseasier to install a new landing gear system to lift and level a trailer.

The landing gear I recommend for your Sundowner Gooseneck Horse Trailer is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set, part # UF17-943010.

This set features dual motors that let you level the trailer independently, and also has large footplates to keep the trailer from sinking. Each motor has it's own toggle switch.

To make sure the trailer is level I recommend using levels like part # HM09915. These are easily installed by either sticking it on the trailer or using the mounting holes if you wish to screw them in place.
