Hello, everybody. This is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Etrailer square side wind two-speed jack with the spring return drop leg. Has a 10,000 pound lift capacity. Now, this is a heavy duty two-speed utility jack. This will let you raise and lower your trailer.
Basically, the high gear on this will provide alternate speed, and the lower gear offers full lifting power. Gives you a total screw travel of 12 3/8 inches. Now, if you notice this does not come with a handle. We do sell a sideline handle separately on our website. For this jack, it would be part number TJD-12000-HD.
Now, the drop leg on this has a spring return. So it does increase overall extension for maximum adjustability. The plunger pin right here, you can see, is positioned to the front, and all you have to do is pull out that plunger pin on this heavy duty jack, and it'll release the drop leg, and gives you 13 1/2 inches of travel. The adjustment holes that's on the inner leg of this drop leg are 3 3/8 inches from the center of one hole to the center of the other. Total lift on this jack is 25 7/8 inches, and that's the screw travel of the jack, which is 12 3/8 inches, and then you add the drop leg total travel of 13 1/2 inches.
They do use a durable 1-1/4-inch jack screw on the inside, allows for heavy lifting, and they offer twin thrust bearings to make it extending and retracting the jack very easy. It's also easy maintenance of the bearings. Want to zoom in here and show you on the side. If you'll notice, right here there's two grease Zerk fittings on here, and that'll allow you to attach a grease gun to it and lubricate those bearings. Makes it very easy to maintain.
Has a nice black power coat finish on the inner and outer tubes, and on the very bottom, if you notice the large foot plate, eight inches by eight inches. This will minimize sinking in any soft ground. To install this, it is a weld-on installation. Two specs again, the overall height, 28 inches retracted, 40 1/4 inches extended. lift capacity on this, 10,000 pounds, support capacity, 12,000 pounds, and we had mentioned the outer tube width of four inches, inner tube width of 3 1/2 inches, but that's gonna do it for the review on this Etrailer square sideline two-speed jack with the spring return drop leg.
