Question:
When I could not get one of these to unlock I was forced to take a grinder to it. I therefore have one pin. I assume that I cannot get another pin whose lock is the same as I have and do not need the receiver pin in the blue ox kit. I flat tow a Chevrolet HHR behind my class A. What is the best way to end up with two keyed alike pins?

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Blue Ox Base-Plate and Receiver Lock Kit - Qty 3, # BX88101, for your application. This will give you the tow bar locking pins and the third pin that can be used to lock your tow bar to your receiver. They are all keyed alike.
Unfortunately we don't have any two pin kits that are keyed alike for tow bar pins. The # BX8859 does not give the option to be keyed alike.
