B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch and B&W Turn-over Ball Gooseneck Hitch with MORyde Pin Box

Updated 12/13/2016 | Published 12/12/2016

Question:

I have just purchased a new Keystone Montana 3160 with Mor/Ryde soft hitch I have been told the ride in the tow vehicle suffers if using the B and W Companion with the B and W turnover hitch. Is that true? What is nature of the problem? How can it be corrected? Will the Mor/Ryde correct some or all of this rough riding in the tow vehicle? BTW, the tow vehicle is 2 wheel drive Ford [2006] Crew Cab Lariat with 8foot box.

Anytime you're using a gooseneck to fifth wheel trailer hitch adapter there's a change of more movement in the setup. However, using the B&W Copmanion Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W with the Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1104-5W is one of the best combinations. The Companion hitch is a very reliable hitch. And if you need the versatility of a fifth wheel and gooseneck hitch it's the way to go.

Your MORyde pin box is designed to reduce chucking and jarring. So anything that will cause your ride to be rough will be improved.
