Question:

will this hitch interfere with the mounting of my spare tire? I have a shortbed 1994 1500 Chevrolet. the sparetire mounts on rollup cable between bumper and axle housing. Thanks

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Inch, part # 75099, will not interfere with mounting your spare tire on your 1994 Chevrolet 1500. The Draw-Tite hitch mounts to the frame rails, and does not interfere with lowering or raising the spare tire into place.

To install the hitch it may be required to lower the spare tire as the instructions state, but our installers managed to install the hitch on a 1996 Chevrolet C/K 1500 without lowering the spare tire.
