According to my contact at Curt, the distance from the mounting flanges to the top of the receiver on the Curt Class V Trailer Hitch, # C15317, is 7-1/4 inches. This hitch was designed to fit the Chevrolet and GMC C/K pickup trucks from 1988-2000 with the 10 inch deep drop bumper.
