Published 12/08/2016 >
Question:
Hi, Can you tell me the overall depth of the 1980A-ss Bearing Buddy? In other words, I am trying to deptermine how far the BB will stick out of the hub. I have somewhat of a clearance issue with the center caps. Thanks

I went to our warehouse and pulled a sample of the Bearing Buddy kit # BB1980A-SS that you referenced so I could measure it for you. From the shoulder (the point that remains outside the hub bore) out to the outside edge of the stainless housing the depth is 37mm or 1.46-inches. The flexible plastic dust cap will add roughly another 3mm or 0.12-inches to that depth if installed on the stainless housing.
