Question:
How easy is the installation on a 2011 Tacoma with tow package? I have basic vehicle electrical knowledge and feel pretty competant with basic installs. Thanks,

The installation of the Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller # 90885 and Wiring Harness,# 3040-P, could not be more simple on your 2011 Toyota Tacoma with tow package. The truck will have a wiring harness up under the dash, to the right of the steering column (the plug could also be left of the steering column above the emergency brake pedal). All you have to do is plug in the brake controller wiring harness to it, ground the additional white ground wire to a bare metal surface or existing grounding point, and finally, mount the controller. That is all there is to it.
