Question:

Have a 2016 Ram Laramie that I want to set up for flat towing. Plan on using the Air Force One already installed for towing 2002 Wrangler supplemental braking system and my Aventa tow bar. Have read some of the QandA here on your sight and have a few questions sine this vehicle has LED tail lights. Can I use Blue Ox Part #: BX8811 a six diode block and therefore eliminate the need for the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles RM-88400. And will the BX8811 with 4 amp max load handle the current for the LEDs?

With a 6 diode tow bar lighting kit like the # 154-792-118158 you would never need to use a Brake Lite Relay part # RM-88400.

The Blue Ox kit you referenced would not be necessarily a 6 diode kit so it would not be what you need unless you wired it up like a 6 diode kit.
