Question:
i asked the question directly below this one but i think i kind of phrased it wrong. what i was really wanting to know is if i could use the weight distribution shanks as normal type ball mounts without the use of weight distribution equipment? i basically want to shove that weight distribution shank directly into the stock tow hitch on my 2500 series pickup truck slap a convert a ball on it and go no weight distribution bars required with my 9500lb trailer. i dont quite know if the AMAC1 will maintain its 10k rating if i just use it as a standard type mount without the use of WD equipment.

Yes, you can use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank # AMAC1 without a weight distribution system and it will keep its 10,000 pound weight rating. The Ball Mount Adapter # BA-1 is designed to work with it just for that purpose and is also rated for 10,000 pounds GTW.
