Question:

I have a 2010 Royal Cargo trailer and I need a replacement vent top. Metal, if available, but plastic will have to do if metal is not available. I also need a control knob for opening and closing the vent. And, a spare tire and rim, a Loadstar K550, ST205/75, D15. F7.8-15, with a frame mount. Thanks,

For your 2010 Royal Cargo trailer, you will have to check your current vent for a manufacturer. If you have a Ventline Ventadome or a Northern Breeze roof vent then the Replacement Plastic Operator Knob is # BVD0421-15 and the Replacement Metal Dome Assembly is # BV0534-00. This is our only metal roof vent cover and it has a continuous hinge but there are different styles of hinges, all of which we have plastic replacement covers for. I've attached a picture to help you determine the hinge of your vent lid. If you need a further recommendation, just let me know.

If you don't have the Ventline Ventadome or Northern Breeze vent, then I would recommend replacing the entire vent assembly. The entire replacement is the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Metal, # V2110SP-24. This is a complete roof vent system with a metal lid. If you go this route, I also suggest the installation kit # 344270KITW. I've attached a video of a similar vent to help.

For your spare tire, I reached out to Royal Cargo to get the bolt pattern of the wheel. I recommend the Taskmaster ST205/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B, # TA53VR.

For the frame mount carrier, I recommend the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier, # FSTC1000301. This will give you a 5-1/2 inch rise that will allow more ground clearance.
