Redline Wheel Lock Set to Lock Trailer Wheels

Updated 11/07/2016 | Published 11/05/2016

Question:

How many different combinations are there of these wheel locks? What are the chances my key works on a bunch of other wheel locks? Just checking and I dont mean to offend anyone at my favorite trailer parts store! I am looking at buying some wheels from you and am going to order these locks for them !

The Redline Wheel Lock Set # RG01-150 are not coded like a door lock is. Essentially, these are unique lug nuts used to make it more difficult for a would-be thief to steal because most people are not going to be carrying around the special socket to get these off. However, if they by chance do have the special socket they can remove them. Even though it's the same for all Redline locks, it is quite unique, and will keep many thieves away. This same concept is being used by many automobile manufacturers straight from the factory.

Generally, these are used by putting one of the locks in place of one lug nut on each of your trailer's wheels.
