Updated 11/01/2016 | Published 10/31/2016 >
Question:
Good morning, I was looking to use this as a base for a roof top tent on an open utility trailer. Will it work? Or do you offer something that will? Thank you

Expert Reply:
If properly secured to your trailer the ladder rack, # RA-28, could be used as a base for a tent. The rack is rated for 400 pounds maximum so the total combined weight of everything on it cannot exceed 400 pounds. Also whatever the uprights are attached to would also have to be rated as high or higher than the rack.
