Question:
Good day, I am looking to install the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22inch to 72inch Wide #13703 on a 2011 Dutchmen Aerolite TT. I was looking to install a cargo carrier in the receiver and carry a Honda 5000 generator on it. The question I have is, will it support the generator without causing any damage to the frame or trailer? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The hitch part # 13703 has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. As long as you stay under that capacity and use the stabilizer strap like part # 18050 that Curt requires with the hitch it would be just fine. To determine if the frame of your trailer has the needed capacity you would need to contact Dutchmen for the capacity of it when used with a hitch.
