Hello how are you. I need a Dual Force replacement strut/hinge for my Karitte Galaxy by Thule. I was wondering if it would be possible to use a #14933. The Karitte box also has a ball attachment that the existing strut clamps onto. However, I am not sure if this ball attachment is the same size and interchangeable with each other. Any information would help. RSVP, Thank you.

Thule is indeed the manufacturer of the Karrite branded cargo boxes sold by Sears and so it is often the case that Thule's (or sister-brand SportRack's) parts will work in Karrite applications. This cargo box goes back quite a few years according to my Thule contact.
We offer Replacement Spring Hinge # SR03810 that works with SportRack and many Sears cargo boxes. My Thule contact indicated that original parts for the box are no longer offered since its design is roughly 15 years old, but this part is what you need.
