Question:
When unhooking a fifth wheel camper, if you your landing gear do the pin holes have to be the same? If you do the legs and one pad touches the ground and one is slightly off the ground, 1/2inch or so, is it ok to raise the camper or should they both be pinned in the same hole and the low side blocked?

Expert Reply:
As you have probably found out it is difficult to find a perfectly level surface when not on pavement. Basically when lowering the landing gear legs your main goal is to keep the trailer as level as possible. This may require having the drop legs of the landing gear at different heights or placing blocks such as # CAM44512 under one side to keep it more level.
