Can Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier be Used on an RV with a Rear Slideout

Question:
We just purchased a 2016 Thor Gemini with a rear slide out. Will the tire clear the slide out on this model or will I have to remove it before extending?

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and got some measurements on the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225. From the top of the shank up to the top of the carrier is 35-3/8 inches. But the tire will add another 6 to 10 inches (depending on the tire size) bringing the overall height to 41-3/8 to 45-3/8 inches.
Before you can slide out the rear slideout you would need to pivot the spare tire down so that it is not in the way.
