Question:
I lost my handle. Tried 1 replacement but hole for winch shafts was too small. It is oblong with 2 flat sides. The distance between the flats is 7/16 of an inch, not sure the distance between oblong endpoints. Which handle should I order? I dont have a winch model #

Another expert has measured the hole opening on winch handle # DL70330 and found that it is 15/32 by 5/8 inches. This is slightly larger than the 7/16 inch measurement that you have so this handle is a potential fit.
If you know the winch manufacturer and capacity I can determine the likely replacement handle for that specific winch.
