Today we're going to be taking a look at part number DL70330. This is the Dutton-Lainson replacement wench handle. It's going to measure 9.5 inches long. That measurement is going to be taken from the mount location down here, to the center of the hand grip. That's where we're going to get the 9.5 inch length from. This handle is going to feature a quick attach system, that's going to be this mechanism down here. It's spring loaded so it does not require a nut to get it installed. All you got to do is push it in, place it over the connection part on the wench.
Then release it and it's going to hold itself in place. This is going to fit Dutton-Lainson wenches DL1800, DL2000, DL2500, and DL3200. This is going to feature a slight offset. That's going to help clear obstacles and accessories on your trailer. It's going to feature a nice swivel grip design here on the handle, with the finger intentions, that way you can get a nice secure grip when operating your wench. Dutton-Lainson is also going to make this in the U.S.A. That's going to do it for today's review of part number DL70330. This is the replacement wench handle by Dutton-Lainson.

Replaces the Quick Attach handles on Dutton-Lainson winches.This is a great product however it didn't quite fit my winch properly. It was difficult for me to determine what winch handle I needed and what winch handled to buy, I think if pictures would be helpful in identifying which handle fits which winch.

Prompt delivery of this replacement winch handle. Needed it as a spare since the original fell off the winch twice while transporting boat to ramp. Learned my lesson. Always have a spare and/or take the handle off before hitting the highway.
First of all, if you want terrible customer service, go elsewhere and you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. etrailer, on the other hand, has made a point to provide excellent customer service. As long as they continue to do this, I will always look here first when I need the type of products they specialize in.
Oh, and as far as the product is concerned, it is exactly what I needed. Fast shipping, and well packed.

It was a perfect fit. At my launch there are those who will steal items like a winch handle, but with my luck I didn't install it fully for my ride home (after I removed it while on the water) and lost it in transit. I thought I would need to buy the entire winch assembly but etrailer.com save me $ and it all worked out. I still remove the handle I just remember to put it on correctly when done. If I don't, I know where to go.
The trailer winch handle arrived very quickly, well packed , and worked perfectly, straight out of the box. This winch handle is a little different from most, having a quick-release clip to allow it to be moved from one spindle to the other on the winch. I was very pleased to find it and to get such great service in buying it.
My boat trailer winch handle turned up missing and I needed a replacement quick. Etrailer to the rescue. They had the part and the tech rep had the knowledge to steer me to the right one when I wasn't sure which one fit my winch.
I did not pay for expedited shipping but still took less than a week.
The handle fits perfectly and is very sturdy. It is well galvanized so it should not rust. That is important because I use it around salt water.
I am very happy with etrailer. This is not my first time with them and they have not let me down.
Bought this because the ones that came with the two winches one got knocked off into the lake. The winch is used to adjust the dock to land post cabling because our docks float with water level changes. The Winch is top notch quality as is the winch handle. The only improvement I would have liked was a more secure way to leave the handle on the winch but I just remove it and stow in my dock closet until needed.
The product itself is fine. The engineering behind it and the entire Dutton Lainson Winch system is not.
This winch handle has to be removed every time you transport your trailer or it will fall off during transport or get stolen at the boat ramp (when you forget to remove it!). Unfortunately with my new Continental boat trailer this was the only option. I bought this as a replacement.
Had to order replacement handle as the spring loaded latch failed to stay connected allowing the handle to fall off during transportation. Needs a better way to attach to the winch.
Winch handle came very quickly and was the correct size. I had bought another from a different source that was too small to fit on the shaft. The winch on my trailer did not have the manufactures name but I found an identical winch on a trailer at a launch ramp that was imprinted so I was able to get the correct handle. Make sure the catch is in the slot or it will fall off
Exact replacement part! Figment and function is perfect! I have made several purchases, from etrailer, to include wiring harnesses to various trailer parts. Never a problem with figment or quality, fast delivery! What more could you ask for?
I rate your product as excellent. It is strong and of excellent craftsmanship. Unfortunately I can't use it on my product. I manufacture a patient lift device and it turned out to be too much crank for my units. I really need one to attach on a 1/2 inch shaft where the handle folds up. I though it might work for me since it had a quick release. If you have a smaller one where the handle folds up I am interested.

Andrew - 11/14/2018I could not find a handle to my boat trailer winch locally and contacted etrailer.com. In a few days I had my part from them and the boat back on the trailer. I would certainly use etrailer next time I need something.
Solid piece of equipment at a very reasonable price. I lost the crank handle for my trailer which makes it difficult to launch the boat. I was able to easily find a replacement (after going to a lot of marine stores that didn't have any handles) on the etrailer site. I received the handle within a couple of days and it fits perfectly.
The part was a direct replacement for the one that "got away".
I would suggest that if you have a two speed winch that you store the crank handle in your tow vehicle when not is use.
Good quality winch handle. Perfect replacement for the last one stolen off my trailer. Don't leave these on the trailer when your not using them. They seem to grow legs.

Perfect replacement for lost winch. The product has a great quick release button to allow for storage of the handle when not in use. I would recommend this to any owner of a DL product.
