can you tell me the total height minus the shank of this ball from the base to the top of ball?

On the Curt 2-5/16 Inch Hitch Ball, # C40035, the height from the bottom of the base to the top of the ball is 3-11/16 inches.
The overall length of the hitch ball is 6-5/16 inches. If you subtract the 2-5/8 inches length of the shank it gives you the 3-11/16 inches measurement.
