Measurements of B&W 2-5/16 Inch Hitch Ball with 1 Inch Rise

Question:

For a custom project i would like to know if this will work for a Gooseneck trailer. I assume it should work? The plan is to make a custom subframe in the pickup bed, that screws to the chassis. On this subframe this ball should be mounted. Maybe you also would have a drawing with dimensions?

The B&W ball # BWHB94005 is a 2-5/16 inch diameter ball which is the standard size for a gooseneck trailer coupler so it can be used. The shank for this ball is 1-1/2 inches in diameter and 2-3/4 inches long. The ball has a 1 inch rise and the ball part is approximately 3 inches tall. I have included a picture showing these measurements for you.
