Question:
I have a round bar system that was supplied when I purchased my RV. It was installed on my GMC Yukon. I switched to a GMC Sierra 1500 which has a lower receiver hitch. I have moved the hitch platform to the highest set of holes on the 90 degree receiver bar. My trailer is angled down at the hitch by about 2 inches. Would a hitch ball with a rise work with my Reese system to level my trailer?

Expert Reply:
I recommend adding a shank with a taller rise. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank item # EQ90-02-4300 has a 10 inch rise. This shank has a 600 to 1,400 lbs tongue weight and is compatible with Reese weight distribution systems.
