Question:
I am interested in the maxxair 04401K fan. However I wish to utilize the Fantastic Ultra Breeze Vent Cover. Will the tabs on the Maxxair housing allow for this vent cover, without modification ? Or do the tabs need to be removed ? Perhaps there is another model to better suit my needs. Advise if this is the case. Thanks,

The rain cover you would want to use with the MaxxAir MaxxFan part # MA00A04401K that you referenced is the # MA00-955003 which has the correct hinge design you would need.
I attached a review video for more info for you to check out as well.
