Question:

I am getting 13.2 volts to the junction box and I have wired the 2 axel like the image from your site. I am wondering if maybe the breaks are out of adjustment? How do I adjust the drum brakes on a new install? I have KEBRK-2R and KEBRK-2L for each axel.

If the trailer brakes seem weak and they are newly installed then you will need to adjust the brakes to push the shoes out a little further for optimum braking. To see how to manually adjust trailer brake assemblies check out the video I attached, fast-forward to the 4:35 mark of the video.

I also recommend brake adjustment tool # W80630 which will make it easier to adjust the brakes than using a flat blade screwdriver.
