Question:
My plug on my truck looks like the end of your adapter flat but with recessed connections like a wall outlet. Is there an adapter to turn it into a 4 prong flat?. Porsche used a European plug on my model year. Pls Help...

It sounds like you will instead need the Tow Ready # 118710. This plug adapter will fit into the 7-way round European-style trailer connector with recessed sockets and adapt it to the 4-way flat you desire.
The only catch is that this harness will only work for combined wiring so you will want to check your factory harness by testing the pins with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to see if both the brake and turn signal are carried on the same pin. If they are then this adapter will work great for you.
If they are separate the only other option is to hardwire your vehicle with a converter kit like # C59496 to get a standard 4-way connector.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your purchasing convenience.
