Will the Curt 13701 Adjustable Hitch fit 2015 Coachman Catalina?

The Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver 18" to 51" # C13701 you are currently looking at will not fit on your Coachman Catalina because your frame width is larger than 51". I contacted Coachman and they told me the frame width on your 2015 Coachman Catalina from center I-beam to center I-beam is 68-1/2". This means the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver 22" to 72" # 13703 is the hitch that will fit on your travel trailer.

The Curt Adjustable Hitch # 13703 is a similar hitch to the hitch you were looking at as it is made from powder coated steel and no welding or drilling is required for installation. However, this hitch has a Gross Trailer Weight Capacity of 3,500 lbs. and Tongue Weight Capacity of 350 lbs. which is a lower towing capacity than the Curt Hitch # 13701. However, this is the highest capacity hitch we carry that will fit your trailer's frame width.

To stay within Curt's warranty requirements you will need to use support straps, similar to the Curt Straps # 18050, when carrying all non trailer loads with this hitch. Non trailer loads include but are not limited to cargo racks and bike racks.
