Is an Air Bubble in the Gauge of the Valterra Adjustable Water Regulator Normal

Ordered this item and when received noticed a water bubble in the gauge This doesnt seem correct to me. Is it?

Air bubbles in the gauge of the part # A01-1117VP are normal. High pressure gauges like this tend to have air bubbles in them by design and it would not affect how it works at all.
There is glycerin and an air bubble in the gauges now. This is an improvement they made to the gauge according to my contact at Valterra.
