On the Curt cargo carrier # C18109 when it is down for use it measures11-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier. When folded up that same measurement is 5 inches.
To determine if this is enough clearance for your 2015 Honda Pilot (which I am almost certain it is) you can measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your hitch straight back to the end of the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 5 inches it will fit when folded or down. If it is greater than 5 inches but less than 11-1/4 inches it will fit when folded down only.
