Can Trailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks be Used to Change Trailer Spare
Published 06/14/2016 >
Question:
guess I asked the question above. Can this be used to change a tire on a F450 or goose neck trailer for hauling horses and cows. Is it a better option than a screw jack. Thanks

We are aware that in emergency situations people will use their scissor jack like part # UF48-979002 as a way to jack up the rear of their trailer. But this is not what they are intended to do so I would recommend you not do this. They are not designed for the full weight of a trailer.
Instead I would recommend you use something like the part # EZ-JACK which will give you an easy way to jack up the trailer to change the spare. You would need to roll up your trailer wheel on the side of the trailer that is still good and the bad wheel will be lifted.
