Question:
Can I use this lighttwo total on my utility trailer. I see they are not DOT approved? I want a 3 function light with only a single face.

Expert Reply:
Wee do offer DOT-compliant complete trailer lighting kits that are similar and that would be a better option for your utility trailer.
Optronics part # TL29BK is a complete trailer light kit with 2 stud mount tail lights, 2 stud mount amber clearance lights, a license plate bracket and a 25-foot 4-pole wire harness. If you prefer waterproof high-efficiency LED type lights then you'll prefer their kit # TLL9RK.
Installation videos for both kits are linked for you along with a helpful article on trailer lighting requirements.
