EZ-Jack Recommendation for Tandem Axle Trailer to Allow for Flat Tire Changing
Updated 05/23/2016 | Published 05/17/2016 >
Question:
I have my first camper. It has dual axles. I am looking for a light weight compact jack to use to replace a tire in case of getting a flat. I am using a 12 ton Jack with 2x12x12 wood blocks now. The bottle jack does not have enough reach without the 4 wood blocks stacked under the bottle jack. There has to be a better solution. Any suggestions?

Since you have a tandem axle trailer the easiest solution for jacking up the trailer to allow the flat to be changed is the Blaylock EZ Jack part # EZ-Jack.
You would just need to roll the good tire on the side of the trailer up on this wedge and the flat tire would come up off the ground high enough to be changed.
